and construction management and supervision

Propane evaporative condenser and receiver

LGA provided construction supervision for a propane refrigeration expansion and conversion project in an operating plant. The work included demolition, installation of new equipment, pipe spool fabrication, erection of inter-connecting lines, coordination of instrument and electrical work, purging equipment out of and into service, and startup supervision.

LGA Engineering provided stainless steel pipe spools for an LNG/LPG pump service company. The project included mechanical design, stress analysis, shop drawings, fabrication, shop inspection, pressure testing, QA/QC documentation, and export crating.
Refrigerated propane import terminal

Only a three brief shutdowns were necessary to rearrange piping to correct a refrigeration problem at a new refrigerated propane import terminal, leading to estimated savings of 250,000 kWh of power annually.

For a refrigerated LPG import terminal, LGA provided construction management and startup supervision for modification and expansion of pumping systems and LPG truck, marine loading, and rail facilities.

To enhance a petroleum terminal operator's ability to meet gasoline vapor pressure standards, LGA Engineering designed this gasoline blending system and accompanying butane railcar unloading. We provided field construction supervision, startup services, operator training, and a subsequent increase in railcar unloading capacity.
Gasoline/butane blending system

During a refrigeration upgrade for an importer of refrigerated propane and butane, LGA provided basic engineering and construction and startup supervision of a new 750 HP, 150-ton refrigeration system for two existing refrigerated propane storage tanks.
